The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a new class of inductees. The ceremony took place Saturday evening in Los Angeles. Joining the ranks this year are Bad Company, the White Stripes, Soundgarden, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper and Outkast. Both Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon received the Musical Influence Award. The list of performers who took the stage included Elton John, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Iggy Pop, Missy Elliott, Taylor Momsen and more.

Soundgarden Inducted Into R&RHOF By Jim Carrey
Actor Jim Carrey helped induct Soundgarden into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Saturday night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Carrey gave a speech recalling his 1996 experience with the band on Saturday Night Live. Band members, along with Chris Cornell's daughters, provided speeches and performed to honor the late frontman.
